Meet the friendly staff at Brunswick Veterinary Hospital!

Wendy Buhrmaster

Dr. Wendy graduated in 1985 with a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Michigan State University. She has had a long and varied career, which has included both small animals (dogs and cats) as well as equine veterinary medicine. She has worked in small animal general practice and in emergency medicine which makes her a well-rounded addition to the Brunswick Veterinary Hospital!

Dr. Buhrmaster joined our staff in the fall of 2016 and has quickly become an important and valued team member. She enjoys working together with owners on complicated medical cases and demonstrates her deep love of animals on a daily basis. She is delighted to be working for Dr. LaMora and with the hospital’s wonderful staff. Dr. Buhrmaster’s free time is spent with her two horses, Wesley, a retired Standard Bred and Jesse, an American Quarter Horse. Her constant companion is Rufus, a silly Golden Retriever who can sometimes be seen hanging out at the hospital. Residing in the beautiful Adirondacks, Dr. Buhrmaster enjoys long walks in the woods with Rufus, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, and relaxing with a good book or knitting project.

Through the American Veterinary Medical Foundation’s Veterinary Care Charitable Fund, our hospital is able to help animals rescued from abuse and neglect and the pets of clients facing personal hardships. Your donations to the AVMF on behalf of our hospital will help us help animals. Click on the AVMF donate button to make your tax deductible donation.
