Owner, Veterinarian
Dr. Nicole L. LaMora, the owner of the Brunswick Veterinary Hospital, attended The Ohio State University and graduated with a B.S. Degree in Animal Science in 1996. After several years working as a Diet Specialist for the El Paso Texas Zoo, and also as a Customs Inspector and dog handler for the Department of Homeland Security Dr. LaMora was admitted to Texas A&M’s College of Veterinary Medicine where she earned her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2010.
As a veterinary practitioner, Dr. LaMora’s top priority is to provide quality care to her patients. She likes communicating with clients about the needs of their pets, all things surgical, and she enjoys the detective work that goes into the more difficult-to-solve cases. Equally important to her are the relationships she creates with both her patients and their owners, and she enjoys helping to strengthen the bond we have with our pets.
Dr. LaMora is very involved in several veterinary organizations. She is the past President for the Capital District Veterinary Medical Society and also the past Representative for the Capital District to the New York Veterinary Medical Society. She is also super proud that the Brunswick Veterinary Hospital is accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association.
Dr. LaMora is married to her husband of 25+ years, and they are proud parents of a very active nine-year-old. They also currently share their house with 3 dogs, 4 cats, 4 horses, 1 donkey, 1 goat, 2 bearded dragons, salt and freshwater fish, and a coop full of chickens! She enjoys horseback riding, reading, and spending time with family, friends, and pets.
