They’ve given their official paw of approval to Whisker Wednesdays, our weekly cat-only afternoons designed to make veterinary visits less stressful for feline patients and their people.
Every third Wednesday afternoon of the month, from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., our clinic transforms into a dog-free zone, creating a peaceful space where cats can feel safe and at ease. From the waiting area to the exam room, everything is tailored to meet the unique needs of our feline friends.
Our team is trained in low-stress feline handling and behavior, ensuring gentle care from check-in to check-out. Whether your cat is due for a wellness exam, vaccinations, or has a medical concern, Whisker Wednesdays offer the perfect setting.

Leave your cat’s carrier out at home with soft bedding and favorite toys so it feels like a safe space—not just a ticket to the vet.
2. Use Calming Pheromones
Spray a synthetic feline pheromone (like Feliway®) inside the carrier 15–30 minutes before travel to help ease anxiety.
3. Keep Travel Smooth and Quiet
Secure the carrier in the car to prevent sliding. Drive calmly, and place a light towel over the carrier to reduce visual stimulation.
4. Stay Calm and Supportive
Your cat takes cues from you. Speak softly and move slowly to help keep them calm.
